Because realty trades in illiquid markets relative to financial assets like common stock, timely valuation lags true values from three months to a year.

More bad news on the housing front in the United States. As usual there has been a lot of talk about "soft landings" and "corrections. But even the market bears and gold bugs don't seem to be able to grasp the true scale of the calamity.
